Well, what a way to end 2011 and what a brilliant start to 2012.
On Thursday 8th December, over 500 leading estate agents and conveyancing lawyers descended upon The Lancaster London Hotel opposite Hyde Park for The Estate Agency of The Year Awards ceremony, in association with The Sunday Times and The Times. The winners received their awards from celebrity guest, Ben Fogle, who charmed the audience with some inspiring tales of his adventures.
These awards are firmly established as the most sought-after and difficult to win in estate agency. Over 5,000 offices were represented this year, but only the very best of the best were crowned as winners. Andrew Farrant, Senior Partner and Simon Watkins, Partner, attended the awards evening on behalf of White & Sons and were ecstatic to be presented with an award for Technology & Online. "White & Sons demonstrated an excellent overall approach to their technology and online offering. Within their local area they showed demonstrable 'firsts' with many initiatives in this discipline" judges comments.
To say that Andrew and Simon were overwhelmed when we won a second award would be a huge understatement. We were presented with a further award for Best Small Agency, South East. "An agent with old-fashioned values but who is at the forefront of technology with an excellent website. White & Sons offer not just sales and lettings but can put together a whole package of professional departments from surveyors to planning and agricultural experts to aid their clients in receiving the very best service and price" judges comments.
