Andrew Farrant, MNAEA, MARLA, Senior Partner
Andrew Farrant - Senior Partner, has over 25 years' experience in the local area. Andrew trained primarily in the corporate environment before joining White & Sons in 1993. He has a particular expertise in Land and New Homes along with a wealth of experience in general Residential Sales. Andrew is responsible for the management and direction of the firm. He is a member of The National Association of Estate Agents.
Simon Watkins, FNAEA, FICBA, MARLA, Partner
Simon started his career in Commercial Agency in London in 1970. He then became a partner in Vernon Smith Estate Agents & Surveyors in Reigate & Horley who amalgamated with White & Sons in 1985. He deals with Residential and Commercial Sales & Lettings, and the acquisition & sale of Building Land & New Developments. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and a Fellow of the Institute of Commercial Business Agents.
Kim Ferguson, FNAEA, MARLA Partner
Kim commenced his property career in 1972 after a spell in Marketing in London. He worked in several towns in Surrey including Guildford, where he was educated, being head-hunted to join White & Sons as an Associate in 1981. He has been a Partner since 1985 and heads White & Sons Country Homes. He is in charge of the firm's marketing and carries out Valuations for probate and family issues, and also advises on the sale and acquisition of Building Land.
James Turnbull, FRICS, MEWI, FARLA, Partner
James is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute. He heads our Residential and Commercial Professional Department and has 30 years of experience. He specialises in Valuation, Management and Landlord and Tenant work regularly providing reports on a variety of cases relating to both Residential and Commercial Properties including those relating to restrictive covenants and potential negligence claims. He is also responsible for the financial management of the firm.
Stuart Walker, BSc, MRICS, FAAV, Partner
Stuart Walker holds a BSc in Rural Land Management from Reading University. He is a Chartered Surveyor and is a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers. He became a Partner of White & Sons in 2004, and runs the Agricultural and Planning arm of our Professional Services Department, with a team of qualified Surveyors and Planners. Stuart's specialities include most types of planning work, in particular Green Belt & Rural Planning. Development work ranges from single plots to large housing schemes. On the Agricultural side Stuart deals with Agricultural Tenancies, Compensation Claims, Land and Farm Valuations, Subsidies & Grants, Telecoms and Property Disputes.
Martin Bird, MNAEA, Associate Partner
Martin commenced his property career in 1996 and gained experience in both independent & Corporate Estate Agency. After a highly successful period managing an award winning branch he joined White & Sons in 2005. As Associate Partner in charge of our Reigate branch he deals with Country Homes, Commercial Property and Lettings, and assists with training and motivation. A member of The National Association of Estate Agents he became an Associate Partner in 2008.
June Leitch, Associate Partner
June Leitch has worked in property for over 30 years, gaining extensive experience in both Residential Sales, New Homes and Lettings. She has worked both in the local market and London as an Area Manager. Since joining the firm in 2003 she has led our highly successful Residential Lettings Department. June became an Associate Partner in 2008 and her Department is ARLA registered.
Tom Witchell, MNAEA, Associate Partner
Tom joined the firm in the Spring of 2002 and previously worked in Kingston upon Thames for a large Corporate Estate Agent. Tom passed his MNAEA exams in 2005 and became an Associate Partner in 2008. Having been educated in the Dorking area and being a keen riding enthusiast he has an extensive knowledge of Equestrian Property, particularly in The Surrey Hills and the Dorking area. He manages the Residential Agency Department in Dorking and assists with White & Son's Country Homes.
Andrew Stanyard, MNAEA, Oxted Branch Manager
Andrew joined White & Sons to assist the busy Lettings Department before joining the Residential Sales Team in the successful Reigate Office. Starting as a junior Negotiator, Andrew then became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and progressed to Assistant Manager. In 2010 he was made Manager of the Oxted branch, which deals with Residential Sales, Country Homes and Property Rentals. White & Son's busy Professional Department is also based in the office.
Stephen Cullens, MNAEA, Horley Branch Manager and Head of Land & New Homes
Stephen has been in the property industry since 1994, starting with a large independent Estate Agents and gaining experience in various market places within Surrey. Stephen joined White & Sons in Horley in 2009 managing the Residential Agency Department and also dealing with Country Homes. The Horley branch also has a Lettings and Commercial Property Department.
In addition, Stephen has experience in the Land and New Homes industry in which he has a wealth of knowledge and experience and now heads up White & Sons' Land & New Homes. He focuses on Site Acquisitions, Development and Sales of New Homes, working with the firms long standing Professional Sales Teams and highly successful Planning Department. He liaises with Land Owners, Developers and Builders on existing and New Home instructions, acquiring and selling land together with finding and assembling development plots.
