Virtual valuations and viewings

We understand that moving isn’t for everyone right now, but for those who would still like to continue their property journey, we have embraced technology to ensure you can still receive accurate valuations and view properties.

Using our very experienced local staff and data from our extensive back-catalogue of transactions we can provide accurate virtual valuations.  The process is simple;

  • Initially we will call you to explain how the tour will work, where to start and what will be covered off.  We will send you through a copy of The Best Price Guide for discussion after the video tour of your home.
  • We can agree on our preferred video platform (usually Facetime, Whatsapp, Houseparty,  Zoom etc.)
  • The tour will begin with an initial conversation regarding your house moving objectives, price expectations and what we can do to help you achieve your goals.
  • You take us on a walk-through of your home.

Following the video tour we will provide you with an email market appraisal with a suggested marketing price and advice on next-steps.

From the safety and comfort of your own home we can facilitate a virtual tour by the current owners.  You will not only get to view every room as if you were there, you also get the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session.  It may feel a little odd to begin with, but within seconds it will feel as personal as if you were actually there.  How this works;

  • We will agree a convenient time for both the sellers and potential buyers to be taken on a virtual tour of the property.  Ahead of the tour we will explain to both parties how the tour will work and what will be covered off.
  • At the agreed time the sellers will walk the buyers through the property and end the video tour with a live Q&A session.
  • The seller will then leave the call allowing time for us to talk to the potential buyers to obtain their feedback.

Can I still put in an offer?  Absolutely, although the government are discouraging people from actually moving, the paperwork side of things can still continue – read more here

Established since 1817, we understand the need to adapt to circumstances beyond our control.  We would be pleased to assist you with any requirements you may have at this time, simply email your nearest branch and we will do the rest.
